Steering the company
Lauren is a Red Seal chef for over 30yrs . His many years in the industry has prepared him for his role as CEO. He understands the what it takes to manage a workforce. The dedication to his craft has helped him make every event successful from the specific needs of the clients to helping forcast possible stumbling blocks, while still helping the client navigate the stress of managing details. He has a background working throughout Canada from the Algonquin Hotel in St. Andrews NB, Bistro's in old Montreal, Hotels in Dawson City Yukon and the Hyatt regency Hotel in Vancouver where he helped to prepare banquets for up to 1600pp. Additionally he spent ten years as executive Chef of two of Ottawa's premier golf courses. Lauren now leads a team of 65-70 devoting his time to screening each member of his team personally to make sure they are a right fit for Chefs&Staff4Hire. In addition to building the team and filling orders he devotes many hours visting with clients and receiving valuable feedback to better service their needs.
Behind the Scenes
Susan has been a licensed optician for 25yrs. She now works tirelessly behinds the scenes as Office Administrator to make sure that invoices are sent out in a timely manner and most importantly ensuring all 70 members of our team are paid on time. As one of the city's most sought after opticians, and former business owner she has played an instrumental role in shaping the success of Chefs&Staf4Hire. With a strategic mindset and an unwavering dedication to our clients and communities, Susan has been a driving force behind our mission to create a better future for both our staff and our valued partners.
